About the Band
Kaal is a five-piece fusion rock band exploring the space where genres collide. Drawing inspiration from Indian classical music to 80s hard rock, the band blends these contrasting influences into a powerful, unpredictable live sound.
Tapas Waingankar and Ahaan Parekh bring distinct guitar styles, balancing technical precision, creativity, and expressive playing. Malay Kale drives the band with powerful drumming and solid grooves, while Evan Fernandes adds depth through his dynamic vocals and bass. Advika Mahajan brings together Hindustani classical and rock vocals while adding her own creative approach to the bass.
Together, Kaal creates a bold fusion of tradition and rock, delivering energetic performances that are anything but predictable.
