VOTING TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR CONTEST

Yamaha Teens Rock 2026 Voting Contest Terms and Conditions

1. Yamaha Teens Rock 2026 Contest, hereafter referred to as “Contest”, shall begin on August 10, 2026, and shall conclude on September 05, 2026. This Contest will be run and sponsored by Yamaha Music India Private Limited (“Yamaha Music India”) and is powered by Trinity College London.
2. The Voting Campaign will be running on Yamaha Music India’s official Facebook and Instagram page/handle during the above-mentioned dates (both dates inclusive).
3. The purpose of the Voting Campaign is to enable users to vote for their favourite participating bands featured on the Contest website.
4. The Voting is open only to persons resident in India who are using a local mobile number. . .
5. To participate in the Voting Campaign, users must:
   1. Visit the official Contest voting website.
   2. Register by providing the required details.
   3. Verify their mobile number through OTP.
   4. Cast up to three (3) votes.
   Participation is subject to successful OTP verification, technical availability of the voting platform, and compliance with these Terms & Conditions.
6. Each registered user may vote for a maximum of three (3) different band performances during the Campaign Period, subject to one vote per band performance. Multiple votes for the same performance, or votes in excess of the permitted limit, shall be invalid.
7. Only one voting account shall be permitted per individual. A participant may register and vote only once using a unique mobile number and unique email address, and such other identifiers as Yamaha Music India may, in its sole discretion, determine. Duplicate registrations or multiple accounts using the same mobile number, email address, device, IP address, or any other fraudulent means may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Yamaha Music India.
8. Votes once submitted are final and cannot be modified, transferred, or withdrawn.
9. All valid votes received during the Voting Campaign period shall automatically become eligible for the daily giveaway draw.
10. A participant must be at least 18 years of age as on the date of vote submission. Minors shall not be eligible to participate unless the minor’s parent/legal guardian has provided prior written consent in the form and manner prescribed by Yamaha Music India. Yamaha Music India may require age and identity proof at any time.
11. The vote submitted to this Contest would be subjected to screening. Any vote, if found violating these Terms & Conditions, shall be removed from the Contest based on the sole discretion of Yamaha Music India. Yamaha Music India may, without notice and without assigning any reason, reject, disqualify, suspend, or void any vote or participant registration that violates these Terms & Conditions, or the spirit of the Contest, and may withhold or cancel eligibility for any prize.
12. Entries for the Contest shall be accepted only during the Voting Campaign period i.e. from August 10, 2026, to September 05, 2026 (11:59 pm IST). Yamaha Music India’s server/system clock shall be final and conclusive for determining the time of receipt. Any vote received after the Voting Campaign period, or not successfully recorded in Yamaha Music India’s system, shall be null and void.
13. The votes shall only be valid only if all the required details/information submitted by the participant is complete, accurate and submitted as per these Terms & Conditions and/or any other terms as may be provided by Yamaha Music India from time to time.
14. The daily giveaway winners shall be announced through the official communication channels of Yamaha Music India, including but not limited to the Contest voting website and/or Yamaha Music India's official social media channels. Yamaha Music India is not responsible for non-receipt of any announcement by participants.
15. Final winner(s), if any, shall be selected in accordance with the process determined by Yamaha Music India and announced at the sole discretion of Yamaha Music India. Yamaha Music India’s decision shall be final and binding.
16. Yamaha Music India reserves the right to modify, alter/amend the Contest rules or to cancel, suspend extend, or discontinue/withdraw the Contest or any part thereof including its Terms & Conditions at any time without any prior notification at its sole and absolute discretion for any reason whatsoever, including technical issues, regulatory concerns, or force majeure. Revised Terms & Conditions (if any) shall be published on the official social media accounts of Yamaha Music India.
17. All rights, title and interest including but not limited to the intellectual property rights in the entries received for the Contest shall solely and exclusively vest with Yamaha Music India at all times. Furthermore, Yamaha Music India reserves the right to use the database of the entries submitted to this Contest for any marketing/promotional and publicity activity(s) as it deems fit during and/or after the Contest without any further reference or payment or compensation to the participant.
18. Daily Giveaway: During the 27-day voting period, two (2) winners will be selected randomly every day from all valid votes received on the Yamaha Teens Rock voting website.
    1. One winner will receive one (1) Yamaha FS80C Natural Acoustic Guitar.
    2. One winner will receive one (1) Yamaha PSS-E30 Portable Keyboard.
    3. A total of 54 winners will be selected during the campaign (2 winners × 27 days).
    4. Each participant is eligible to win only once during the entire campaign.
    Yamaha Music India reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of at its sole discretion in the event of unavailability, supply disruption, or any other reasonable cause. The votes of employees of Yamaha Music India and its subsidiaries, and their immediate family members shall not be eligible for the Daily Giveaway.
19. All the Contest prizes/awards/titles are non-transferable, non-negotiable, and no cash alternatives shall be offered in lieu of such prizes/awards/titles. Any applicable taxes, charges, duties, or incidental costs arising in connection with acceptance or use of the prize shall be borne solely by the winner participant.
20. Winners will be selected through a random selection conducted by Yamaha Music India. The decision of Yamaha Music India regarding winner selection shall be final and binding.
21. Winners may be contacted through their registered mobile number and/or email address. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the stipulated timeline, or is found ineligible, Yamaha Music India reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
22. Yamaha Music India reserves the right to verify the identity and eligibility of any participant before awarding the prize. Winners may be required to provide valid government-issued identity proof and address proof.
23. The prizes shall be dispatched within 30 days from verification of the winner’s details.
24. Yamaha Music India shall not be responsible for any delay, damage, theft, or loss occurring during shipment of the giveaway prizes, due to incorrect/incomplete information provided by the winner, or any other circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
25. Yamaha Music India shall not be responsible for any technical malfunction, server downtime, website outage, internet failure, OTP delivery issues, software failure, unauthorized intervention, or any circumstance beyond its reasonable control that may affect participation in the Voting Campaign.
26. Any attempt to manipulate the voting process through bots, automated scripts, fake registrations, multiple identities, VPNs, proxy servers, fraudulent activities, or any unfair means shall result in immediate disqualification. Yamaha Music India reserves the right to remove any votes or participants suspected of fraudulent activity without prior notice.
27. Yamaha Music India reserves the right to audit all votes and registrations at any stage of the campaign.
28. Yamaha Music India reserves the right to modify, suspend, extend, discontinue, or cancel the Voting Campaign or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any revised Terms & Conditions shall be published on the official Yamaha Teens Rock website and shall be deemed binding upon its publication.
29. By participating, participants consent to Yamaha Music India collecting, storing, processing, using, and disclosing their personal information for Contest administration, verification, winner selection, compliance, in accordance with applicable law and Yamaha Music India’s privacy policy. Where required by law, separate consent shall be obtained for marketing communications or other legitimate business purposes.
30. Yamaha Music India shall own all rights in and to the Contest and/or relating to the Voting Campaign, including all associated intellectual property, branding, and campaign materials, to the extent permitted by law.
31. Participation in the Voting Campaign is voluntary. By participating, users agree and acknowledge to receive campaign-related communications from Yamaha Music India.
32. Yamaha Music India reserves the right to reject any registration or vote that is incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, offensive, or otherwise violates these Terms & Conditions.
33. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Yamaha Music India shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special, exemplary, punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the Contest and/or participation in the Voting Campaign or acceptance or use of any giveaway prize. Yamaha Music India’s aggregate liability, if any, shall be limited to the fair market value of the relevant prize, if awarded.
34. Participants agree to indemnify Yamaha Music India, its affiliates, agencies, directors, officers, employees, contractors, and representatives against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from any breach of these Terms & Conditions, any fraud, misrepresentation, or unlawful conduct by the participant, any infringement or alleged infringement of third-party rights or misuse of the Voting Campaign.
35. Each provision of these Terms & Conditions is independent. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.
36. No purchase of any Yamaha product or service is required to participate in the Voting Campaign or become eligible for the daily giveaway.
37. All disputes arising from or relating to the Voting Campaign shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of India. The courts at Gurugram, Haryana, shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
38. The gratification to the winner(s) shall be delivered within 30 days after the winner announcement, provided all the personal details as required and asked for, are submitted promptly with all the correct details by such participant to Yamaha Music India.
39. The winner shall not have any right(s) of claim for loss, theft, or damage whatsoever caused to the prize item(s) in transit from Yamaha Music India or for the delay in delivery of the prize or on any other ground(s) whatsoever. Actual prizes may vary from the images of the prizes as depicted in the promotional advertisements.
40. Yamaha Music India shall not be liable for the warranty and/or service of the gift/prize items given as gratification to the winner(s).
41. Any decision made by Yamaha Music India concerning eligibility, validity of votes, selection of winners, interpretation of these Terms & Conditions, or any other matter relating to the Contest shall be final, conclusive, and binding upon all the participants and no appeal shall lie against any such decision.
42. This Contest may be suspended, postponed, modified, or cancelled due to force majeure events or any event beyond the reasonable control of Yamaha Music India, and Yamaha Music India shall not be liable for any resulting loss or inconvenience.
43. All the terms & conditions of use of the platforms as those stated by Yamaha Music India shall apply to the Contest and all its participants.
44. All the participants agree that Yamaha Music India shall not be held or made liable for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with this Contest or with the acceptance, possession or use of any prize claimed in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of the Contest.
45. By participating in the Contest, each participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, including any amendments made by Yamaha Music India in accordance with applicable law.
